Kid Lips™ is a phenomenally helpful resource for teaching phonetics: how sounds are produced, how they are perceived, and their physical aspects. Picture cards of children’s mouths are used to teach and show the correct placement of the tongue, teeth, and lips when producing the target phoneme. This package includes a 100-page instructional guide with 41 user-friendly lessons. Each lesson is about 10 minutes in length. The extra value in the lessons is the Spanish connection and explanation of why an English language learner may struggle to learn and pronounce sounds in English. Tips for instruction are also a part of every lesson.
A mini set of the Phoneme/Grapheme cards is also included. Card fronts have the most common patterns for reading and spelling. The backs are blank. Great size for kids' hands! There are 47 cards in the set.
