    Editorial Reviews

“The brilliance of Reading Assessment Done Right lies not only in its technical precision, but also in its insistence that prevention is possible, and that assessment is a lever by which we can achieve that goal. The result is not another book that describes assessment in the abstract, but in the concrete. It is a roadmap that insists on action—action that can be taken today, in your classroom.”

    — PAM KASTNER, Ed.D., Literacy Consultant; Contributing Faculty Member, Mount Saint Joseph University’s Reading Science Doctoral Program; President of The Reading League Pennsylvania

“An important and highly useful book! This author ‘dream team’ (a practicing teacher and a teacher educator with deep knowledge of science of reading assessments) has created a go-to resource that I personally will use and recommend to everyone interested in optimal outcomes for all students.”

    — JAN HASBROUCK, Ph.D., author/coeditor of Climbing the Ladder of Reading & Writing, Conquering Dyslexia, and Student-Focused Coaching
